If Audio Bullys does not go well for you will Filth behave in the same way? you should be honored you are getting to play with artists like this at no risk to yourself.

Bottom line is, that's not the case
I feel I've more than explained the situation and wish you'd just accept it. There's constructive critisim and just stirring sh*t and sour grapes. Let's not go round in circles.... what exactly is it you want from me Alan?? I'm obviously missing the point as we're yet again going around in circles!

What difference does that make? Surely we're discussing the same thing here?
What do you want me to say then? What will make you happy? I'm struggling to see any positive motive you have behind all this... looks like it's purely personal!

All I can do is apologise if my comments were perceived in the wrong way. Yes I should have worded my comments better, and should have been more diplomatic but I didn’t think they would be pasted all over a public forum and it certainly wasn’t supposed to be a public announcement.
The problem was a lot of people were calling this purely a Filth night. All I was trying to say was this wasn’t a regular Filth night, it was a Filthy Robot night. That was all.
I think this has been blown out all proportion. I really don’t know what else to say on the matter and hope this can be the end of it. All this silly schoolboy arguing gets pretty tiresome after a while.

Audiolife, do you not realise all the bad reactions your getting to this? I mean in general, not just from replies on here. I've heard lots of comments from random people about this argument and how childish you are, seems it's on the grapevine not just in inverness. Sometimes in life things just can't be resolved to the end. Accept that and move on without a lasting grudge.

I wouldnt say that everyone has that attitude but agree that some people do. I think the main problem with the night was the way it went from quite uplifting stuff straight into the ambient stuff and a lot of people that were bopping about didnt really know what had happened and promptly left the dance floor. Me included! I remember it picking up towards the end but that must of been when Alex P started his set. I didnt really notice when HFB live bit ended and he started. Thats how I remember it anyway, but I was quite out of it so what I remember may not relate to what happened. Wouldnt be the first time

When theres a discusion or "constructive critisism" on the go why does everyone end up thinking its an argument??? |

Iv`e gotta agree with Tiny and Audiolife, I love the Filth nights in Ironworks but pesonally i think it was a bad move to get involved in the HFB night. Could you not have checked him out on youtube or his myspace before putting the Filth name to the night? My mates went and were expecting the usual Filth type tunes all night even after i tried to explain it was a FilthyRobot night and left during his HFB set. Personally i like HFB`s stuff

I also think it was a mistake to get involved in the night, and am happy to admit that. If I am being totally honest when we agreed to do the night I hadn't checked out HFB on myspace/you tube. Which was obviously a mistake. But I felt that we were given the impression that the booking would work with both nights. It was only after we agreed to do the night that I checked them out and began to have doubts about the whole thing.
You live and learn.
And I also apologise for my comments that Alan had pasted on here from bebo, I should have been more diplomatic, but all I meant by it was to tell people it wasn't a regular Filth night, it was a Filthy Robot night. That was all. But as I said I didnt expect part of my comment to get pasted over a public forum. It wasn't meant to be a public announcement of any sort - Will certainly be more careful with my words in future!
And I hope this can be the end of it all!

I think we're having 2 different discussions on here... I've answered most of the points before in great detail.... please read all previous posts for answers!
Maybe is was a mistake... why does everyone want our blood over it???
Is it time to move on yet? I DJ because I love it, and the music... it's my hobby and a chance to relax and get away from the pressures of the day job. Unfortunately with all this and other past "battles" it's starting to get more stressful than the 9-5 though. Sometimes you wonder why you do it?
